This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which Iris Soft ("we," "us," "our") processes refund requests for purchases made on the Iris Soft Store Platform. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
This policy is designed in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws, including the Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, the Regulation on Distance Contracts, EU Directive 2011/83/EU, EU Directive 2019/770/EU on digital content and digital services, and applicable consumer protection regulations in other jurisdictions.
1. General Policy – No Refunds on Delivered Digital Products
1.1 Due to the nature of digital software products, all sales are generally final once the license key has been delivered and/or the download link has been made accessible to the Buyer.
1.2 By completing a purchase, the Buyer expressly acknowledges and agrees that:
- The purchased item is a digital product delivered electronically
- Delivery is deemed complete upon the license key and/or download access being made available
- In accordance with Article 15(1)(ğ) of the Turkish Regulation on Distance Contracts and Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content once performance has commenced with the Buyer's prior express consent
- The Buyer has acknowledged the loss of their right of withdrawal as a condition of immediate delivery
1.3 This policy applies regardless of whether the Buyer has opened, installed, or used the product after delivery.
2. Eligible Grounds for Refund
Notwithstanding the general no-refund policy, refund requests will be evaluated and may be approved under the following circumstances:
2.1 Product Does Not Match Description
If the delivered Product materially and substantially differs from its description on the product page at the time of purchase (e.g., the software does not include the core features advertised), you may be eligible for a refund or exchange.
2.2 Corrupted or Non-Functional Product
If the delivered product file is corrupted, non-functional, or unusable, and we are unable to provide a replacement or working version within a reasonable timeframe (up to 5 business days), you may be eligible for a full refund.
2.3 Duplicate Purchase
If you have accidentally purchased the same product more than once, we will refund the duplicate charge upon verification.
2.4 Unauthorized Transaction
If you believe a purchase was made on your account without your authorization, please contact us immediately at [email protected]. We will investigate and, where confirmed, process a refund and take appropriate security measures.
2.5 Non-Delivery
If you did not receive your license key or download access within a reasonable timeframe after payment (and the payment was successfully processed), you are entitled to immediate re-delivery or, if re-delivery is not possible, a full refund.
3. Non-Eligible Grounds for Refund
The following circumstances are not eligible for a refund:
- You changed your mind after purchase
- You no longer need the product
- You purchased the wrong product (please review product descriptions carefully before purchasing)
- The product is incompatible with your system, where minimum system requirements were clearly stated on the product page
- You experienced difficulty using the product due to lack of technical knowledge
- Your license was revoked due to a violation of the Terms of Service
- The refund request is submitted more than 7 days after the date of purchase (except for unauthorized transaction claims)
- You have filed a chargeback with your bank or payment provider without first contacting us
4. How to Request a Refund
To submit a refund request, please follow these steps:
- Step 1: Contact us at [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request – [Your Order ID]"
- Step 2: Include the following information in your email:
- Your full name and email address used during purchase
- Your Order ID (found in your confirmation email or account dashboard)
- The product name and the date of purchase
- A clear description of the reason for your refund request
- Any relevant supporting evidence (e.g., screenshots of the issue)
- Step 3: Submit your request within 7 calendar days of the original purchase date.
Requests submitted outside the 7-day window may be declined except in cases of unauthorized transactions or non-delivery.
5. Refund Review Process
5.1 All refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We aim to respond to all requests within 3 business days of receipt.
5.2 We reserve the right to request additional information or evidence to verify the validity of a refund claim.
5.3 Where a refund is approved, we will notify you via email. Refunds are processed to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
5.4 Refund processing times depend on your payment provider and may take up to 5–14 business days to appear on your statement after approval.
5.5 Where a refund is issued, the associated license key will be deactivated and you must cease use of the software immediately.
6. Chargebacks
We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly at [email protected] before initiating a chargeback with their bank or payment provider. We will make every reasonable effort to resolve disputes amicably and promptly.
Initiating a chargeback without prior contact may result in:
- Immediate suspension of your account and revocation of all associated licenses
- Being permanently banned from making future purchases on the Platform
- Documentation of the transaction being submitted to the payment processor in response to the dispute
Fraudulent chargeback claims may be reported to relevant authorities.
7. Consumer Rights Under Applicable Law
7.1 Turkish Consumers: Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes the statutory rights available to consumers under the Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, including the right to submit complaints to Consumer Arbitration Committees (Tüketici Hakem Heyeti) or Consumer Courts.
7.2 EU Consumers: For consumers in the European Union, your statutory rights under national laws implementing EU Directive 2019/770/EU on digital content and digital services are not affected by this policy. You retain the right to a remedy if the digital content is not in conformity with the contract.
7.3 UK Consumers: Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by this policy.
7.4 US Consumers: This policy does not limit your rights under applicable state consumer protection laws.
8. Modifications to This Policy
We reserve the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to that transaction.
